Jason Pera, President
Certified Financial Planner Professional, Stark Miller Financial Benefits Group

As a Certified Financial Planner, Jason Pera conducts investment reviews for the clients of Stark Miller Financial Benefits Group, presents at group enrollment meetings, and runs on-going employee education seminars. With his focus on financial stability, Jason assists families and individual investors through life's fluctuations. In his few free moments outside of the world of finance, Jason devotes his time to both his family and his volunteer efforts. Jason's current ventures include The Bread Project and hospital foundation fundraising.

Jennifer Lee, Vice President
Deputy Attorney General, California Department of Justice

Jennifer Lee is an attorney whose background ranges from commercial litigation to working for a biotechnology startup. Currently she is a Deputy Attorney General in the Government Law Section of the California Attorney General’s Office, providing legal advice and representation to elected officers, agencies, and departments of the state on a wide range of legal issues . An avid home cook and baker, her favorite leisure activities include browsing farmer's markets, reading food blogs, and whipping up sweet treats for friends and family. Jennifer holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology from Princeton University and a J.D. from the UC Berkeley School of Law.

Brett Baucom, Treasurer
Senior Manager, Deloitte & Touche, LLP

Brett Baucom is a certified public accountant with Deloitte & Touche working in its mergers and acquisitions advisory practice. Brett holds a masters degree in accountancy from the University of Wisconsin. Along with his wife, Brett actively supports the Bay Area Multiple Sclerosis Society. In his free time Brett enjoys traveling and athletic competition.

Maria Matsu, Secretary
Retired

Maria is a retired corporate banker who enjoys working with non-profits. In addition to the Bread Project, she is currently serving on the boards of Gumball Capital and Bay Area Wilderness Training. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants and foods, listening to live jazz, traveling, and outdoor activities. With an MBA in Finance, she worked at Bank of America for over 20 years as a financial analyst and project manager conducting efficiency studies, evaluating investment proposals, and preparing pricing and profitability analysis in many areas of the bank. She also co-owned, baked, and served as a business manager of a retail bakery.

Seema Patel
Director of Product Management, Consumer Debit Products, Visa, Inc.

Seema Patel brings over 10 years of business, technology, and entrepreneurship leadership to The Bread Project, primarily through consulting and product management roles. Her experience spans a wide variety of industries, most notably in the retail financial services sector. Driven by a longtime passion for self-sufficiency and financial responsibility, Seema also does volunteer work with KQED/PBS and the Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment (WISE). In her free time, you can find her experimenting in the kitchen or urban hiking around SF in search of good eats. Seema is a graduate of Cornell University (BS) and Stanford University (MS).

Genevieve Wang
Product Marketing Manager, Jamba Juice

Genevieve Wang is a marketing and product innovation professional specializing in the food and beverage industry, with experience in the restaurant/fast food industry as well as in wine. In her role at Jamba Juice Company, Genevieve was responsible for product management and new product development. Previously, Genevieve spent 5 years volunteering as a marketing and business planning consultant to a non-profit bakery cafe and job training program in Boston's inner city. Genevieve holds a B.A. in Economics from Harvard University.
