Our Mission
The Bread Project's mission is to promote self-sufficiency by providing low-income Bay Area residents with the skills needed to obtain and keep jobs in the food industry.
Vision for the Future
The Bread Project’s Board of Directors intends to capitalize on past success and set ambitious goals for the future. The Board’s vision is to pursue more food contracts with school districts and other public and private organizations, launch a series of fundraisers, and further acquaint the public with the program. Through careful planning and implementation, the Board is determined that The Bread Project will continue to fulfill its mission of helping disadvantaged low-income people support themselves and their families.
