Target Population
Our clients are low-income people from diverse ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. They consist of African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, Caucasians and Native Americans who live in the counties of Alameda, San Francisco, Contra Costa, and San Mateo.
Ages range from 18 to over 60. Past trainees have included ex-felons, recovering substance users, at-risk youths, single parents, welfare recipients, homeless people, developmentally and emotionally challenged individuals, women re-entering the work force, immigrants, and seniors.
